R.I.S.E Goals

Nevada ranks 1st in the nation for unaccompanied and unsheltered youth and about 40% of youth who have aged out of foster care are homeless nationwide. Our nonprofit provides housing, access to food assistance, jobs, assistance with obtaining drivers license and mental health services including basic and life skills training. Of all the services that we provide, our young men value our hair grooming services. They all line up ready for their haircuts that leave them with the confidence and self-esteem needed to pursue their goals. Our ultimate goal is to decrease the barriers of transitioning from foster care to independence by bringing services directly to our homes. 

1. RISE Homes will provide housing for young adults who have aged out of foster and to youth experiencing homelessness  
2. RISE Homes will provide access to food and supplement the cost of food for the duration of each participant‘s stay
3. RISE Homes will help participants transition into independent living         
4. RISE Homes will improve the mental health, basic living and life skills of participants 
5. RISE Homes will serve its community through monthly homeless outreach events
